Quest Global in Erie, PA is seeking an Electric Drives Control Engineer to lead heavy vehicle propulsion and drive control development, including model-based design with MATLAB/Simulink and real-time verification. You will collaborate with Systems, Software, Power Electronics, and Verification teams to deliver robust control features.
The role requires 3–5 years in HIL and real-time simulation, expertise in drives, power electronics, and FOC, plus strong communication and design review skills

The Electric Drives Control Engineer shall be responsible for all tasks and deliverables related to heavy vehicle propulsion and auxiliary drive control system development, including control algorithm design, software requirements development, model-based implementation, integration, verification, and validation activities. The Drives Control Engineers shall work closely with Systems, Software, Power Electronics, and Verification teams to develop, maintain, and enhance heavy vehicle drive control functionality.
This role is considered an on-site position located in Erie, PA.
