Job summary

Arizona Public Service seeks an Operations & Maintenance Coordinator/Associate to plan and manage maintenance and capital projects within the electric distribution system. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance and alignment with schedules under the Senior O&M Coordinator guidance.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end planning, securing permits, coordinating with contractors, managing materials and budgets, and acting as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders while

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field with related experience.
• Experience in construction management, maintenance, or project management roles involving scope, timelines, budgets and stakeholders.
• Strong planning, budgeting and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, CC&B, GIS and work order systems such as Maximo/Primavera.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills and basic algebra knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of complex electric distribution maintenance and replacement projects.
• Gather information, assemble complete work packages and conduct field checks.
• Prepare permits and traffic control plans, support outages and ensure readiness.
• Manage materials, update planning tools and coordinate with contractors.
• Approve contractor invoices ensuring alignment with scope.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders and coordinate across departments.
• Assist with outage notifications, scheduling and city inspector coordination.
• Maintain records, monitor budgets and report metrics.
