Job summary

eZone Staffing, LLC is seeking a Distribution Engineer to join their team. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal communication skills and assist with applications engineering functions including work plans, system improvement plans, integration, dispatching, SCADA, communications infrastructure, data analysis, distribution automation, and field and technical engineering services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; electrical engineering preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work non-standard hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Assists in planning, preparation, and implementation of systems analysis and planning studies.
Assists with development and implementation of construction specifications and procedures.
Aids in preparing engineering drawings and staking for subdivision layouts, state highway jobs, and mapping records.
Works with outage management and SCADA systems to support safe and reliable distribution system operations.
Assist with sectionalizing studies and coordinate with CLIENT operations supervisors, crews and contractors.
Occasionally works in the field or off-site; may require travel and extended hours.
Collaborates with staking personnel to design work orders meeting member needs and CLIENT policies.
Supports development and maintenance of engineering and operation agreements; proficient in Microsoft Office.
