Job summary

M&S Engineering LLC seeks an entry level Electric Distribution Designer Trainee to learn the production of electric distribution field designs, staking of facilities, and construction prints using design/estimation software under experienced designers.

This on-site position requires a high school diploma, a Texas Driver’s License, and willingness to travel for field work. Employer-paid health/dental/vision insurance, STD/LTD, life insurance, and a 401k with employer match are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Current Texas Driver’s License with insurable driving record

Responsibilities

• Represent M&S and client professionally in meetings with property owners and engineering firms
• Learn electric distribution design processes and staking
• Prepare construction prints and estimates
• Adhere to client standards of construction and specifications
• On-site field work and travel for field visits
