Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire seeks an Electric Distribution Designer 3 to design and write work orders for the electric distribution system, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery. You will prepare estimates, designs, and documentation for projects, and support storm restoration activities.

The role requires an associate degree in engineering or related field and on-the-job training, with the ability to pass the EEI Tech Test.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Electricity or similar.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training as Electric Distribution Designer 3 or equivalent.
• Must pass EEI Tech Test and have knowledge of company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers, contractors, and officials to assess project requirements.
• Design and write projects with details for scheduling and execution.
• Provide cost estimates and designs for residential and commercial/industrial services.
• Support storm restoration and emergency assignments.
• Assist in training Electric Distribution Designers and coordinate with internal departments.
