Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to install aircraft system components, wire harnesses, and perform hands-on production tasks while refining process layouts. You will help translate design changes into production and ensure quality through in-process inspections.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. A two-year technical degree and an A&P license are preferred, with strong tool skills and teamwork valued.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree from an accredited technical school preferred
• Ability to assist in problem analysis and independent decision making
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics of battery/electronic components
• High Voltage assembly experience preferred, especially related to DC energy storage systems.
• Previous aircraft maintenance/assembly experience
• Airframe & Powerplant license
• Good team communication skills required
• Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint

Responsibilities

• Hands-on installation and test of a variety aircraft systems
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes as the key process owner.
• Performing in-process quality control inspection tasks, recognizing deviations and assisting in troubleshooting
• Maintaining accurate and clear manufacturing documentation, including assembly process docs and process data
• Performing regular inspection, cleaning, and servicing on manufacturing equipment
• Maintaining maintenance logs for all machines, tools, and jigs
• Providing regular productivity and incident reports
• Using all mandated safety equipment and complying with safety requirements
