Job summary

AdeptHR in Santa Clarita, CA seeks a Set-Up & Break-Down Operator for a short-term election support role. You will assemble voting booths, handle cables, and install touch screens across multiple polling sites, following instructions and safety guidelines.

Expect 2–3 weeks of work, with regular hours and potential overtime. The position offers hourly pay of $25–$27, plus a paid training rate of $22/hour in Santa Clarita, with a pathway to Lead Operator based on performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English to follow assembly instructions and safety guidelines.
• Able to perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, crawling under tables and lifting materials.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle voting booths safely and efficiently.
• Connect and secure wiring and cables; work under tables to keep areas neat and hazard-free.
• Mount and connect electronic touch screens and verify basic power.
• Travel to designated Santa Clarita voting locations.
• Work with team to meet daily setup/teardown deadlines.
