Qualifications

  • Three years of elections or warehouse experience with typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
  • Some college credit hours preferred; ability to obtain certification in election equipment functionality and software.
  • Texas driver’s license and automobile liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares all equipment for use during an election.
  • Supervises and performs all testing on equipment.
  • Assists with proofing testing equipment and paper ballots.
  • Prepares equipment for storage pre-election and post-election.
  • Establish and maintain an inventory program for equipment, supplies, and forms.
  • Performs routine maintenance of election equipment and tracks equipment for repairs.
  • Travels to election sites to deliver, set up, and troubleshoot equipment and supplies.
  • Provides on-site support to election workers during voting periods.
