Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC is hiring for an onsite Assembly Worker to perform diverse assembly tasks and packing for products along production lines. You will use light hand tools and follow standard procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will conduct basic quality checks, maintain a clean workspace, and comply with safety and PPE requirements while contributing to a reliable, lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools including tape measure, calipers and grinders.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work with PPE as required.
  • Willingness to use ladders and respirators as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all types of assembly to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels and pack as part of production lines.
  • Carry out work manually or with light hand tools and maintain quality.
  • Perform regular quality testing as part of the production process.
  • Operate within SOPs and keep a clean, safe work area.
