Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Master Schedule Planner to create and maintain detailed production schedules from the production plan, release work orders, and manage daily MRP to meet delivery targets. You will coordinate with Production Planners and project managers to optimize resources and ensure timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to communicate directly with project managers regarding order status and delivery dates.
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple production schedules for MV, LV, and LIS Switchgear (SWGR) a plus.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to monitor performance metrics and support operational decision‑making.
• Experience managing inventory levels, inventory control processes, and material availability.
• Knowledge of logistics coordination, including scheduling, transportation, and delivery management.
• Experience handling customer orders from receipt through fulfillment while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Ability to effectively manage resources and production capacity to meet customer demand and operational goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use tools such as measuring tapes, calipers, grinders, and other hand tools as required
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing job duties, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
