This position reports to: Production Supervisor

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Performing routine machinery set‑up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts.
  • Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set‑up, programming activities, and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any; and maintaining detailed records of machinery set‑ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products.
  • Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non‑compliance.
  • Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
  • Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities.
Qualifications for the role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the U.S.
