Reporting To

Production Supervisor

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Execute assigned tasks according to workflows, ABB Standard processes, and safety guidelines, reporting any non-compliance.
2. Operate machines following the operating manual, work schedule, and production instructions.
3. Perform routine machine setup, adjustments, repairs, and fit simple replacement parts.
4. Ensure the availability of required materials for assigned work.
5. Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and report issues.
6. Maintain a safe working environment and attitude.
7. Keep detailed records of machine setups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
8. Track approved, defective units, and final products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, grinders, etc.
• Understanding of 5S methodology.
• Use of PPE.
• Ability to operate cranes and ladders safely.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Prior fabrication experience preferred.
• Must have valid work authorization in the US.
