Job summary

Responsibilities

• Safely transports elderly and/or disabled persons door to door to medical, nutrition, shopping, and human services resources according to an assigned schedule.
• Performs pre-trip vehicle inspections including checking oil and tires, fueling, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Notifies passengers to secure their seatbelts and operates wheelchair lift equipment as required.
• Keeps a log of passengers, destinations and trips, and reports injuries or accidents to appropriate supervisors.
