Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an attorney to join our respected Florida probate and estate planning practice in West Palm Beach. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration and growing autonomy as you establish with the team.

You will manage probate administration, advise on estate planning strategies, draft wills and trusts, guide beneficiaries through probate procedures, and work with elder law matters; strong client service and revenue generation are valued.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license.
  • 1+ year of attorney experience in probate administration and estate planning.
  • Drafting estate planning documents.
  • Strong understanding of Florida probate procedures.
  • Elder law, guardianship, Medicaid planning, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage probate administration matters from opening through completion while keeping clients informed and supported.
  • Counsel clients regarding estate planning strategies based on their goals, family circumstances, and assets.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related estate planning documents.
  • Guide beneficiaries, personal representatives, and families through Florida probate procedures and requirements.
  • Communicate directly with clients and develop trusted, long term professional relationships.
  • Handle filings, deadlines, document preparation, and coordination to move probate matters forward efficiently.
  • Collaborate with our legal team on elder law matters that may include guardianship, Medicaid planning, and related planning needs.
  • Help grow and strengthen the practice through excellent client service, referrals, and business development when appropriate.

Location

This is a hybrid opportunity based in West Palm Beach, Florida. We expect a few days per week in the office initially, with additional flexibility available as you become established in the role and with our team.

Note

Candidates must be active members of the Florida Bar and have at least 1+ year of directly relevant attorney experience involving both probate administration and estate planning. Experience with elder law, guardianship, or Medicaid planning is highly valued.
