The TemPositions Group of Companies' client, an established and highly respected law firm in Hauppauge, NY, seeks an experienced Elder Law Attorney to join its team. The role centers on Medicaid planning, asset protection, long-term care planning, and crisis Medicaid applications, with a focus on compassionate client service.

You will advise on Medicaid eligibility, oversee applications and appeals, and collaborate with families to navigate complex estate planning and trusts.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New York State Bar
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, and/or Trusts & Estates
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility rules and crisis planning strategies
• Excellent communication, client service, and organizational skills
• Ability to compassionately guide clients and families through complex and often time-sensitive matters
• Must be able to work onsite in Hauppauge, NY
