Job summary

Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office seeks an experienced Assistant District Attorney for the Superior Court Elder and Disabled unit. The role represents the Commonwealth in courts across Massachusetts, handling complex elder and disabled case prosecutions with integrity and professionalism.

The attorney will manage trials, pre-trial motions, and sensitive matters, while mentoring colleagues and coordinating with partner agencies to uphold victims’ rights and public safety.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and MA license to practice required.
• Significant trial experience and strong advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to handle sensitive elder/disabled cases.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Commonwealth in all stages of criminal prosecutions.
• Handle trials, arraignments, and related motions in superior court.
• Mentor and collaborate with staff, partners, and agencies to ensure ethical, effective prosecution.
