Job summary

United Church Homes is seeking a Charge Nurse at SEM Haven to collaborate with elders, staff, families and volunteers to provide nursing care in an elder-centered setting. You will promote residents’ opportunities for engaging in normal life pursuits and support functioning levels within your household.

The successful candidate will deliver care per policies, participate in household life, and uphold respect for all individuals in a supportive family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to elders according to facility policies and procedures.
• Promote elder-centered care and participate in team-based management.
• Assist with daily life activities in assigned household.
