Job summary

SEM Haven in Ohio seeks a Charge Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care in an elder-centered home. You will work cooperatively with elders, families, staff and volunteers to create a positive environment and support daily living activities.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with long-term care experience preferred. You will promote respect, teamwork, and flexibility while meeting regulatory standards and participating in household life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to implement and evaluate elder care programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to elders per policies and guidelines.
• Promote elder-centered care and daily activities.
• Assist with household tasks and life engagement.
• Support elders and families respectfully.
• Attend household meetings/learning circles.
• Fulfill simple requests to maintain life in the household.
