Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is seeking an Elder Care Technician (CNA) to provide person-centered care in a home-like Elder Care setting. You will deliver daily care, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a warm, engaging living environment for Elders.

The role offers opportunities to mentor trainees, advance toward Elder Care Specialist, and participate in a collaborative, team-driven culture at Sheridan Green House in northern Wyoming.

Qualifications

• Wyoming Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Central Registry clearance required.
• Completion of Sheridan Green House Elder Care Trainee training or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide relational and clinical care to Elders per individualized care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility).
• Support documentation and reporting for Medicaid/Medicare billing.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical support for Elder preferences.
• Oversee household tasks: meal planning, cleaning, and laundry.
• Prepare nutritious home-style meals in an open kitchen.
• Mentor Elder Care Trainees and support leadership development.
• Contribute to onboarding and team coaching in the Sheridan Green House model.
