Responsibilities

• Proper use and care for laundry equipment.
• Handle clean and soiled laundry appropriately.
• Use laundry supplies properly.
• Identify and report garments or linens in ill repair to supervisor.
• Distribute clothing to residents' rooms in accordance with the theft loss program.
• Follow infection control procedures through proper handling, storage, washing and transporting of all garments and linens.
• Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner.
• Follow laundry procedures in accordance with facility protocol.
• Adjust water temperature valves to maintain required temperatures.
