Qualifications

• Must be able to speak English in an understandable manner.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, and laundry cleaning methods.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move equipment, supplies, linens, etc in excess of fifty (50) pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laundry duties and sort/process linens.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in all tasks.
• Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing staff as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and supply needs to supervisor.
