Job summary

Markesan Resident Home Inc. is seeking an entry-level Dishwasher to support the Dietary Aide and Cook. You will wash dishes, clear dining areas, run the dishwasher, and maintain a clean, secure kitchen and dining space.

Responsibilities include assisting residents during meals when needed, following infection control policies, and helping with general cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Must relate well with residents, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Wash trays, pots, pans, utensils and return to storage.
• Operate the dishwashing area and keep it clean and organized.
• Assist with serving meals as needed and assist residents in dining.
• Maintain safety, report accidents, and follow infection control policies.
• Attend required in-services and follow department policies.
• Lock up and secure the facility at end of shift.
