Visiting Angels of Naperville is hiring a Patient Care Aide - PCA to support elderly clients in the Naperville area with in-home care. The role focuses on compassionate personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship in clients' homes.

The PCA provides light housekeeping, meal planning, medication reminders, and transportation support as needed, with flexible shift options available across part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Willingness to help clients with personal care and hygiene
• Ability to manage light housekeeping tasks
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals
• Prompt clients to take medications on time
• Help with shopping and groceries as needed
• Plan and prepare meals with clients
• Assist mobility and accompany clients to appointments

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to help clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - including getting around the house and doctor visits
