Job summary

Mid-Willamette Family Ymca is seeking a Part-time Afternoon Aide to support the ELC Albany preschool program from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will help set up afternoon activities, supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, assist with transitions to outside time, and support parent pick-up routines.

Duties include maintaining a safe and clean classroom, helping with closing procedures, and engaging with toddlers and preschoolers to promote development in a welcoming YMCA environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year experience with toddler and preschool age children.

Responsibilities

• Support preschool program from 11:00–5:30PM by setting up afternoon activities.
• Engage with children during play (indoors and outdoors) and assist with transitions to outside time and parent pick up.
