Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Client Account Manager/Executive in our Payments Services division. You will be the strategic face to the client, overseeing a book of accounts, driving maintenance, growth, profitability, client satisfaction, and contract renewals.

You will consult with clients through data analysis and performance reviews, and act as the escalation point for internal and external issues. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 or more days in the office and flexibility for other days.

Job Description

The Client Account Manager/Executive is the strategic face of Payment Services to the client, representing multiple business channels. They are responsible for the overall management of a book of accounts, including maintenance, growth, increased profitability, strategic direction, overall client satisfaction, and contract renewals.

Consults with clients through data analysis, industry education, presentation of performance results and recommending action to improve performance. Also serves as the escalation point for both internal and external client issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically five to eight years of client management experience in the payments industry

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Strongcontract negotiation, account management and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret dataProven customer service/relations skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the location for the other days.

Pay Range: $80,280.00 - 98,120.00
