Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an Elastomers Project Engineer to drive development, testing, and commercialization of elastomer-based products in Kendallville, Indiana. You will coordinate design, validation, and production launch activities, leveraging CAD, PLM, and GD&T across cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years of related experience, and up to 20% travel. Strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills are essential for successful projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• At least 4 years of related experience.
• Experience with CAD and PLM software.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional measurement.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead elastomer product development projects from concept to launch.
• Design, validate, and optimize elastomer products and components.
• Collaborate with CAD, FEA, process engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop tooling and manufacturing solutions for prototypes.
• Support supplier coordination and cost analysis.
