We are on the lookout for a Senior Java Engineer to join our Elasticsearch Delivery team. The mission of the team is to enable Elasticsearch developers to be productive and efficient, ensure the stability of build and continuous integration environments, and develop the testing infrastructure, tooling and automation in support of Elasticsearch development, quality assurance and developer workflows.

Instead, we are looking for forward-thinking people with a deep knowledge of Java, algorithms, and concurrency, who have experience contributing to and managing large Java codebases, with knowledge of CI/CD systems and practices and Java build tools, and who love to solve new challenges.
Compensation: Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below: $133,100 - $210,600 USD. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below: $159,900 - $252,900 USD.
