Job summary

SteelGate LLC is seeking an experienced Elastic Developer for a full-time remote role in the United States. You will design, deploy, and maintain Elastic Stack-based solutions across data ingestion, search, analytics, and visualization, leveraging Kubernetes and OCI for cloud deployments.

The ideal candidate brings strong Elastic Stack expertise, Kubernetes proficiency, and scripting abilities, with a focus on secure, scalable, and resilient deployments. Collaborative DevOps experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and managing Elastic Stack solutions.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and management of stateful apps.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python/Bash).
• Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform/Helm a plus.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Elastic Stack solutions for data ingestion, storage, search, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and custom integrations.
• Create and manage Kibana dashboards and visualizations for analytics and monitoring.
• Deploy, scale, and manage Elastic Stack components in Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate Elastic Stack with OCI services for secure cloud deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Elastic Stack performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement security best practices within Elastic deployments.
