Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on Elastic Stack experience in enterprise production environments.
• Advanced Kubernetes experience, including ECK operator deployments.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with observability, telemetry, logging, and monitoring platforms.
• Experience in secure, classified, federal, or highly regulated environments.
• Onsite work at Langley AFB (VA).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize large-scale Elastic Stack environments for logging, observability, and telemetry.
• Ensure platform reliability, uptime, scalability, and performance across production systems.
• Manage Kubernetes-based Elastic deployments, including ECK environments.
• Develop and maintain automation for deployment workflows, monitoring, and incident response.
• Integrate Elastic with SIEM and security tooling (Splunk, EDR, telemetry).
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and infrastructure issues.
• Implement observability frameworks including logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives within DevOps.
• Maintain runbooks and escalation procedures; participate in on-call rotations.
