Job summary

Mondo is seeking an experienced Elastic Administrator to own the day-to-day health and ongoing administration of an on-premises Elastic platform supporting enterprise logging and observability.

You will administer the full Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) across large multi-node production clusters, manage ILM, sharding, replication, data pipelines, and automate tasks with Python or Bash in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on Elastic administration experience, including managing large multi-node production clusters.
• Deep expertise in Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Elastic Agent, and pipeline configuration.
• Experience managing ILM policies, sharding, and replication in production environments.
• Strong Linux systems experience supporting the Elastic platform on premises.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the full Elastic stack across large multi-node production clusters.
• Manage core components including ILM policies, sharding, replication, and data pipelines via Logstash and Elastic Agent.
• Monitor and ensure platform stability, reliability, and performance within an on-premises Linux environment.
• Manage storage capacity and data flow to maintain a healthy and performant Elastic environment.
• Plan and execute version upgrades for the Elastic stack during the contract period.
• Write Python or Bash scripts to automate administrative tasks.
• Serve as the primary owner of platform health, proactively resolving issues before they impact operations.
