Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC seeks an Elastic Engineer to bolster our ELK stack and data pipelines. You will design, deploy, and optimize Elastic components, building robust data ingestion and reporting solutions for distributed teams.

The role requires a strong background in ELK, Kubernetes, and scripting, with eligibility for U.S. government clearances. You will collaborate across Agile teams and deliver secure, scalable analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with active Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility required.
Minimum 6 years of directly relevant software development experience.
At least 2 years of Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) admin experience.
At least 2 years of experience with Elasticsearch DSL.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Kubernetes architecture.
Strong knowledge of ELK stack; scripting in JavaScript, Python, Bash, etc.

Responsibilities

Build data pipelines to ingest external datasets into Elastic products.
Design, deploy, maintain, and enhance the ELK platform (Elastic Logstash Kibana).
Install and configure ELK components.
Use Elastic Search indices, APIs, Kibana dashboards, Logstash, and Beats.
Develop or integrate ELK plug-ins for auth and security.
