Job summary

Precision Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Elastic Cloud Security Engineer for a Hybrid role in Lexington, MA. The candidate will design and maintain systems to automate complex cyber activities, build security analytics, and support ECS mappings in a government cybersecurity environment.

The role requires 5+ years with Elastic Stack and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, plus a Bachelor’s degree. On-site 2/3 days per week in Lexington, MA, US citizenship preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Elastic Stack administration (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats or Fleet).
• Experience managing Elasticsearch index lifecycle policies, templates, and data streams at scale and building Kibana dashboards.
• Experience with Elastic Security detection rules, alerts, and case management workflows.
• Experience with log ingestion pipeline design across heterogeneous sources (network, endpoint, identity, cloud).
• Experience with Elastic Common Schema (ECS) mapping to ECS-compliant fields.
• Experience in government cybersecurity environments (SOC/SIEM) or defensive cyber.
• Experience optimizing log collections from AWS, endpoints, and network devices.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts for security analytics (anomaly detection, baselining, threat scoring).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
