Mesa Public Schools is hiring an ELAD Testing Clerk to assist in coordinating, administering and monitoring district testing for English Language Acquisition. The role ensures quality control and adherence to guidelines, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred; must pass language proficiency test.
• Computer and clerical experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate district testing for English Language Acquisition Department.
• Assist in identification, screening, testing and placement of language minority students.
• Prepare student counts; maintain records, reports and other recordkeeping tasks; inventory and update testing materials and kits.
• Gather data; assist in preparation of final reports; relay test results to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to inquiries and testing requests from school personnel.
• Develop files and maintain quality control.
• Attend designated meetings and support innovative ideas.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit.
