Job summary

Achievement First in Connecticut is seeking dedicated teachers to join our dynamic team for the 2026-27 school year. You will deliver high-quality instruction, foster a growth mindset, and help scholars reach ambitious academic and personal goals within a supportive, equity-focused culture.

As part of AF, you will collaborate with families, use interim assessment data to guide instruction, plan effectively with grade-level teams, and participate in ongoing professional development and coaching

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree; GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Connecticut teaching certification or in process of obtaining one.
• Two years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented learning environment.
• Partner with families to support student success.
• Use interim assessments to drive instruction and interventions.
• Implement unit and lesson plans with grade/subject teams.
• Model AF's core values in all interactions.
• Collaborate with coach and school team and attend PD meetings.
