Frontier School STEM High School seeks an anticipated ELA Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. The starting salary for this position is $63,000 and will be commensurate with experience and education.

Plan and deliver engaging ELA instruction, assess progress, and maintain thorough records. Collaboration with staff and participation in district initiatives are essential to support student growth and achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Missouri teaching certificate for the appropriate level preferred.
• Experience in ELA instruction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation when requested.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide progress reports.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies and regulations.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides and volunteers.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in staff development.
