Qualifications

• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must complete required health examinations and immunizations.
• Must pass required criminal history background check.
• Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of students.
• Uphold school rules, board policies, and state/federal laws.
• Communicate professionally within the school community.
• Review plans and schedules with Principal or designee before teaching day.
• Follow teacher’s schedule and lesson plans as assigned.
• Supervise pupil behavior in class and during other periods.
• Write a daily report on work completed and leave for the regular teacher with the Principal.
• Remain in the building until official closing time.
