Job summary

Think Academy International in San Jose, CA, is seeking an ELA Content Teacher on the Teaching Management Track to blend classroom teaching with leadership responsibilities. This full-time, onsite role combines teaching, curriculum support, teacher training, and instructional leadership.

You will teach Think Academy's elementary ELA courses, help improve teaching quality, and train other teachers. Strong performers may advance into a Teaching Management Lead role as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Fluent English proficiency required; teaching experience preferred.
• Prior tutoring or teaching assistant experience is desirable.
• Able to learn quickly, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and take ownership of the student experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach live online ELA small-group classes for elementary students (Reading, Speaking, Writing).
• Prepare lessons using Think Academy curriculum; grade work and provide constructive feedback; communicate progress to students and parents as needed.
• Support onboarding and training for new ELA teachers; observe classes and share best practices to improve teaching quality.
