Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Utility team member to support the production of Medium Density Fiberboard and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous improvement of processes. Requires awareness of hazards, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to train and participate in meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and follow complex work instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proper housekeeping and keeps a clean work space
• Continuously improves processes and procedures in work area
• Must be able to climb ladders to elevated work areas and to work in enclosed areas
• Actively trains new team members, and attends meetings and trainings as needed
• Operates a variety of different hand tools (e.g., shovel, broom, air hose)
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of professional work experience is preferred
• Willing and able to work a flexible or rotating schedule
• Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation
• Able to work in extreme heat/cold,navigate catwalks and ladders
• Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position including; climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending
• Ability to communicate effectively and constructively
• Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
• Ability to read, understand, and calculate basic mathematical equations
• Must be team oriented and w illing and able to learn new jobs and skills
