What You'll Bring

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings with customers and colleagues.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

The Opportunity

Under supervision from the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk provides customer service and performs various bakery tasks.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, cleaning and rotating displays, taking special orders, collaborating with the baker on baked goods, and maintaining cleanliness of the department, including hosing down floors.

This role requires physical activity such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, with visual and auditory demands. For accommodations, see the full job description in-store.

Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for food preparation, handling, and serving positions.
