Candidate Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds as needed.

Job Responsibilities

The Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous service, cleans, fills, and rotates meat and seafood displays, and assists customers. The role involves working with the Meat Cutter to determine cutting needs and maintaining display cleanliness. Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting.

Certifications

Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
