Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

The Opportunity

Under the supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, processing sales quickly and accurately, performing cash register operations, and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
