Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity: Under supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Responsibilities include assisting customers, cleaning display cases, shelves, and rotating self-serve displays. Must be able to work various hours including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and stooping.
