A leading grocery store is seeking a Meat Cutter 2 for their San Fernando location. This entry-level position involves cutting and preparing meat products, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Location: El Super #47 - San Fernando
Job Description: Under direct supervision, the Meat Cutter breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products using hand tools and power equipment, according to company standards for variety, size, quantity, and trim. Meat products are prepared for display or as ordered by customers. The role involves working with customers to take special orders and collaborating with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut. Must be capable of performing very heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods.
The work environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store. Essential physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, along with visual and auditory requirements.
