What You'll Bring

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Assist in maintaining the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and help customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will bag groceries, carry out groceries if requested, and ensure store cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include maintaining and retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go-backs, check stand upkeep, and waste removal from the parking area.
