What You'll Bring

Candidates should be able to:

• Read and understand instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Follow detailed instructions using common sense.
• Lifting requirements: up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Role

Under supervision from the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk provides customer service and performs various tasks in the bakery. Responsibilities include assisting customers, cleaning and rotating displays, working with customers on special orders, and collaborating with bakers on baked goods and decorations. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness, including hosing down floors as needed.

Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, with visual and auditory demands. For accommodations, please refer to the full job description in-store.

Note: Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for food-related positions.
