What You'll Bring

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

The Role

The Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous service. Responsibilities include cleaning, filling, and rotating meat and seafood displays, working with the Meat Cutter, cleaning shelves and cases, and assisting customers. The environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store with physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling. Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
