Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Meat Wrapper cleans, fills, and rotates the meat and seafood wrap displays. This position works with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut, cleans shelves and display cases, and assists customers as needed.

The environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, requiring physical effort such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, along with visual and auditory attention. For more details, please refer to the full job description located in the store.

Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food-related positions.
