What You'll Bring

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

It Would Be Extra Awesome if you brought...

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certification

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Duties include assisting customers, cleaning shelves and display cases, managing meat wrap displays, and working with customers and the Meat Cutter on special orders. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., and stand, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.

The environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, requiring physical activity like lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, along with visual and auditory attention. For accommodations, refer to the complete job description available in the store.

Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food-related positions.
