What You'll Bring:
Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

It Would Be Extra Awesome if you brought:

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Opportunity:
Under direct supervision, the Meat Wrapper provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Meat Wrapper cleans, fills, and rotates the meat and seafood wrap displays. This position works with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut, cleans shelves and display cases, and assists customers as needed.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
