Schulte Hospitality Group’s El Rey Court is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. This full-time role supports hotel maintenance across grounds, public areas, and guest rooms, with a focus on preventative care and timely response to work orders.

Qualified candidates should have HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, plus strong communication skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic, employee-focused workplace.

• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
